NYFW SPRING 2027 SCHEDULE IS OUT — 70 SHOWS, SEPTEMBER 10-15

The CFDA released the preliminary official New York Fashion Week schedule for the Spring/Summer 2027 season today. Seventy runway shows and designer presentations confirmed across September 10 through September 15, with additional collections showing by appointment and digitally. The opening moment is the most narrative-loaded on the calendar. Diane von Furstenberg kicks off the week on September 10 at 9:30am with the debut collection of Henry Zankov as artistic director — the first person to present for the house since its founder stepped back. The week closes with Thom Browne on September 15 at 5pm. On the eve of the official opening — September 9 — Ralph Lauren presents his Spring 2027 collection alongside Coach, Rachel Comey marking her 25th anniversary, Cult Gaia, and Libertine.

The key show schedule during the official week: Tommy Hilfiger (September 10, 2pm), Tory Burch (September 10, 7pm), Public School New York (September 10, 8pm), Michael Kors (September 11, 11am), Prabal Gurung (September 12, 5pm), Khaite (September 12, 7pm), and Carolina Herrera (September 14, 6pm). Also confirmed on the schedule: Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Ashlyn, Bibhu Mohapatra, Calvin Klein, and Diane von Furstenberg. First-timers this season: Benjamin Seidler, Conner Ives, Grey's by Emily Grey, High Sport by Alissa Zachary, Hikari no Yami by Jakarie Whitaker, Magda Butrym, Max Esmail, Patrick Taylor, Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and Zaldy. The 2026 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists appear on the official calendar for the first time: Bad Binch TongTong by Terence Zhou, Jamie Haller, and Milamore by George Inaki, joining fellow finalists Aisling Camps, Amir Taghi, Lii by Zane Li, and Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen.

CFDA senior director of Fashion Week Initiatives Joseph Maglieri set the season's tone: "New York Fashion Week this season returns with creative force and zeal for the spring-summer 2027 collections. As our country celebrates its 250th anniversary, this season represents what makes New York Fashion Week special: its spirit of independence. Our designers carve out their own artistic identity marked by grit, individuality, and resourcefulness. Across emerging designers and heritage brands, the attention on NYFW and American fashion is grounded in embracing who we are without trying, or wanting, to emulate any other city. " Two structural notes: the CFDA's fur-free policy goes into effect this season for all brands on the official schedule — following the announcement made in September 2025. And the CFDA NYFW Shuttle presented by Google Shopping continues into its fifth season of carbon-footprint-reducing group ridesharing between shows.
